RECOM has expanded its product range with the introduction of a 2 Watt mini power supply which has a universal input voltage range of 90 V to 305 V, making it suitable for worldwide use.
Modules in the RAC02-SC/277 series are available with output voltages of 3,3 V, 5 V, 12 V and 24 V d.c. and the input-to-output isolation is approximately 3 kV a.c. They can be used without derating at temperatures of up to +75°C.
These components have a standby consumption of only 35 mW, making them suitable for energy-saving sleep mode and standby applications. The compact design (height < 18 mm) is a versatile solution for home automation and other similar applications.
The modules come complete with an integrated input filter and the series has enhanced EMI performance and complies with EN55022, class B requirements.
The power supplies are also protected against short circuit and over-voltage, in both cases with full automatic restart after the error has been resolved.
