Cable markers

20 March 2013 Interconnection

Legrand’s CAB3 cable and wire marking system is designed to save assembly time and provide precise identification in any electrification programme.

The polyamide 6/6 nylon colour-coded system is suitable for marking cross-sections of cable and terminal blocks. This system consists of coloured markers (on which numbers have been hot stamped for permanent identification), label holders and a reusable applicator that facilitates fast distribution of markers.

The patented side-clipping design ensures perfect alignment of markers which are lined up easily and hold their positions securely. The markers are suitable for cable cross sections between 0,15 mm² and 0,5 mm²; 0,5 mm² and 1,5 mm²; 1,5 mm² and 2,5 mm²; and 4 mm² to 6 mm². Marker holders accommodate a cross section of cables from 10 mm² to 70 mm².

The CAB 3 system can be applied at any time, even after wiring. It is ideal for extensions or modifications to cable marking systems and is used extensively as an accessory to Viking high-density terminal blocks. For user convenience, on-site tool boxes and marker dispensers are also available.
