M/A COM Technology Solutions has developed a new HMIC silicon PIN diode SPDT switch for military, commercial and weather radar applications.
The MASW-011021 is a surface-mountable X-band switch designed for high-power, high-performance applications. Its chip-scale configuration utilises patented HMIC PIN diode process yielding optimal RF performance with minimal parasitic influence on device performance.
The device operates from 8,0 to 12,0 GHz and features only 0,65 dB of insertion loss while offering input to output isolation of 36 dB. It can handle up to 10 W of CW power, or up to 20 W of pulsed power over a wide array of applications. The MASW-011021 is offered in a 0,5 x 0,25 mm chip-scale package.
