Ultralife Corporation has introduced a multi-kilowatt lithium-ion module which features high energy density and wide operating temperature range for applications such as in-line power backup and supplemental/reserve power.
The rechargeable URB0001 operates in temperatures from -25°C to +65°C and can be used for more than 3000 cycles while still retaining more than 80% of its capacity. It makes a suitable direct replacement for conventional 1-5 kWh lead-acid batteries of 24 V to 48 V.
Terminal voltage ranges from 20,0 V to 28,8 V, capacity is in the region of 100 Ah, and the batteries have a continuous discharge specification of 100 A.
Typical applications include inline power backup applications or supplemental power and reserve power. Customers include military, telecomms, medical, industrial and utility companies. Ultralife’s batteries also carry NATO part numbers.
The battery is supplemented with a wide range of accessories like chargers, connectors, power cables, balance/form C connectors and an integration accessory kit.
