Mill-Max has announced a new range of double-row connectors for use in applications such as battery charging, as well as other quick-connect uses where low power delivery is required. The connectors combine high-quality gold-plated pins in either spring-loaded or target versions, with the convenience of a crimped pigtail.
Both versions of the connectors are available in 4 to 20 positions and are ready for use in many wire termination applications. The open-end wire offers flexible termination options such as soldering, crimping, splicing, or connecting to a terminal block.
The connectors feature precision-machined and gold-plated pins with a spacing of 2,54 mm in a housing moulded from high-temperature thermoplastic. The spring-loaded pins have a maximum stroke of 1,4 mm while the target connector has a burr-free mating surface. The pigtails are comprised of #24 AWG stranded wire, each 203 mm long with black PVC insulation. Proper tensile retention is attained on the connector by using an 8-point crimp.
