8-port RS422/485 PCI card

Advantech’s PCI-1622CU is an eight-port RS422/485 PCI communication card that is compatible with the PCI 2.2 bus specification. It provides functions such as eight independent RS422/485 ports with isolation protection, a high transmission speed of 921,6 Kbps and surge protection. It comes with high-performance 16PCI954 UARTs with a 128 byte FIFO to reduce CPU load. These components make the system more stable and reliable, making the PCI-1622CU especially suitable for multitasking environments.

Advantech’s ICOM Tools utility program helps in testing the PCI card’s performance by analysing the port status. The menu commands and toolbar buttons of ICOM Tools act as a PC-based data scope that lets the user set a trigger condition, capture the communication data and monitor the signal status.
