New from Vishay is the improved VTAZ series of
high-precision Bulk Metal Z-Foil axial-lead resistors with extended power ratings to 1,0 W and resistance values to 300 kΩ. The new devices feature load-life stability of ±0,005% (50 ppm) at +70°C for 2000 hours at rated power. For high-precision applications, the resistors offer a low typical TCR of ±0,05 ppm/
°C from 0°C to +60°C and ±0,2 ppm/°C from
-55°C to +125°C, +25°C reference and tolerances to ±0,01%.

The enhanced VTAZ series offers a broad resistance range of 5 Ω to 300 kΩ, power ratings from 0,2 W to 1,0 W at +70°C, and a low voltage coefficient of below 0,1 ppm/V. Like all Vishay Foil resistors, the VTAZ devices are not restricted to standard values, and can be supplied with ‘as required’ values (eg, 1,2345 k vs. 1 k) at no extra cost or delivery time.

Offering high ESD immunity, the VTAZ devices withstand electrostatic discharges up to 25 kV and offer a non-inductive (<0,08 μH), non-capacitive design. The devices are available with lead-free and tin/lead alloy terminations.
