Due to increased demand, Phoenix Contact has relaunched its A2 size wall-mounting poster providing advice on PCB soldering techniques to the IPC-A-610C standard for electronic engineers and production engineers responsible for printed circuit board processes.

This is particularly useful in the realisation of new soldering processes, including reflow techniques, to meet RoHS standards. In order to create uniform standards worldwide, the IPC Association Connecting Electronics Industries has published a body of rules for the acceptability of electronic assemblies.

The IPC-A-610C standard assumes different requirements made on the reliability of assemblies. This is the basis for determining the design of the solder connection.
