EMI filters now with metric threads

9 July 2008 Circuit & System Protection

Spectrum Control has introduced a new series of feed-through filters with metric thread sizes.

This new range of EMI filters offers M3 x 0,5 thread sizes with feed-through capacitors and M4 x 0,7 versions with PI filters. With a current rating of up to 10 A and a working voltage of 100 V d.c., most applications in medical, telecommunication, industrial control and data processing are well covered.

The available capacitance range from 100 pF to max 12000 pF provides excellent attenuation of electromagnetic interference in a frequency range starting at 1 MHz up into the GHz range.

Supplied with a metal housing, the coaxial construction provides excellent grounding. The resin seal at both ends protects the internal filter element from harsh environmental stress.

For applications exceeding this product offering, Spectrum Control offers other standard EMC filters for currents up to 300 A and voltages up to 2500 V d.c.
