RF Design achieves ISO 9001:2008 certification

1 September 2010 News

In 2008, CEO Allan Saul and the management of RF Design arrived at the conclusion that due to the significant growth of the company over its 20-year life span, it was prudent to improve on its internal systems in order to more effectively service its clients.

This resulted in a decision to implement an ISO 9001:2008 quality management system tailored to the company’s specific needs and business practices, thereby further enhancing its customer focused approach.

The company subsequently appointed a management representative, Shane Starita, to design and implement this system with the help of consultant Arnold Stofberg from Qualtech. RF Design allocated extensive resources to this venture and staff at all levels were included in the process.

With the system having been fully implemented, RF Design has been audited for certification by Jack Simms from Bureau Veritas. Impressing the auditor with the level of commitment to quality as well as the depth and meticulousness of the system, RF Design passed the certification audit with flying colours and was officially ISO 9001:2008 certified for all three offices – Cape Town, Gauteng and Durban.
